As the Mom of twins, I have spent many hours planning Elementary School parties.? When my kids were young I always enjoyed the challenge of coming up with crafts and favors for the parties. I tried to think of treats that would not be too complicated to make or too expensive.

Our school as a no food policy for school parties which can make it a challenge to plan crafts and activities for some parties, especially Halloween.

I must tell you that Halloween is one of my very favorite Holidays. I love to sit on my porchcustomized gifts for mom, pass out candy, and watch the parade of children come by in their creative and colorful costumes.

As much as I love Halloween, I don’t really love the candy rush that comes with it.? To be honest the massive amount of candy floating around the house after Halloween stresses me out a bit.? I love a good chocolate bar as much as anyone else. However, I never know what to do with all of the candy and it makes me feel wasteful to just throw it out.

My husband is a dentist. One of the first years that he was out of school and in practice we thought that it would be a cute idea to pass out toothbrushes instead of candy at our home for Halloween. It seemed like a great idea until one kid started hysterically crying when we gave him the toothbrush.? After that, we went back to candy.

A few years ago I got the idea to pass out Vampire Teeth at my husband’;s office for Halloween.? They turned out to be a big hit!? To make them a bit more special, I attached a simple tag with twine and put them in a basket by the front desk at the office.?

I’ve designed a new printable for the vampire teeth. You can now download a copy yourself to make your own non-candy Halloween treats and party favors!

To make them. Simply print out the image. I recommend using luster photo paper for a good quality print. After they are printed, cut out along the dashed lines. Punch a small hole in the corner of the tag and tie to the vampire teeth.

That’s it, pretty easy huh!!

If you don’t want to tie them to plastic vampire teeth you can also print out the tags and tape them onto small paper bags. You can then fill them up with stickers, pencils or holiday mini erasers.

After spending 5 days house hunting, I appreciate our home even more. In some ways, I hate to leave the home we just completed, because it’s beautiful, polished & most all, done. But we all know that soon I would become restless anyways, right? For now, I have plenty to share with you in our current home. I was so busy doing that I didn’t take time to share. It feels great to?relax & enjoy what we worked so hard for!A year later & I still love Isla’s room. It’s soft, simple & calming. The neutral?walls with hints of coral, mint & brass created a beautifully blended nursery that I look forward to recreating in our next home. Still, I couldn’t help but think something was missing. I’m obsessed with chandeliers. Isla’s room offers a lot of natural light, so it wasn’t out of necessity, I just wanted to add a hint of elegance. After all, she’s a special little babe! The room has a recessed light fixture that I could convert, but I wanted to add a little something to draw the eye to the corner of the room rather than the center. Adding a light fixture is typically a lot of effort or a costly electrician visit, requiring time in the attic. I found a beautiful brass chandelier that plugs in, so it can be hung anywhere! Life changing for someone like me! Why didn’t I think of this before? A plug-in chandelier can be added anywhere! Oh, the possibilities!I added a globe for height to balance the chandelier & am in love. So simple, yet adds so much! I desperately want to redo Aniston’s room, but soon enough, she’ll have a new one as we prepare to move this summer. I’m just thankful I can take the this chandelier with me! ?
